Aug. 6, 2011, 10:30 a.m. panel at annual NABJ Convention

Lynne d Johnson is a social media strategist and researcher who has worked with agencies, brands and web publishers to develop engaging experiences for consumers with a focus on content creation and community building. She is a senior social media strategist with R/GA, a digital advertising agency based in New York. She also has worked with the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF), Fast Company, Vibe, Spin, BlackPlanet.com and others. While serving as the ARF's senior vice president of social media, she directed content, brand, and social media development and strategy. As senior editor and community director for FastCompany.com, she created the foundation for the magazine's network of expert bloggers.

Matt LeMay is platform manager at bitly, an online url shortening service based in New York that provides detailed, real-time analytics for web links. LeMay also has been a music journalist for more than a decade. He's been described as a "social media wiz" by MediaBistro.com. He also is also a senior contributor at online independent music guide Pitchfork.com, and the author of a book about singer-songwriter Elliott Smith in the 33 1/3 series.
